Hello, My name is Kimberly Anderson. I own and operate theTransported After School Martial Arts Program which is the only one of it's kind here in the Moorpark Area. Both myself and my husband Master Dan J. Anderson have been residents of Moorpark for over 20 years. Being full time working parents both of us realized the importance for after school programs for raising our daughter. Like many other parents in the Moorpark area we found only one program available through the Moorpark Unified School District. We had some problems with aspects of this program such as: supervision, maturity, organization and structure. When I joined the Martial Arts Industry with my husband we dedicated ourselves to creating an alternative resource of education for the children in our area. The unique code of conduct, character building and disciplined environment provided by the Martial Arts is far and away the best after school program available for children today. The biggest problem with a program like this was the ability to get the children to the facility as both parents work. Our program Transports the children right from school and delivers them safely to our gorgeous 8,000 square foot training center (the largest of it's kind), all you need to do is pick them up when your ready. We look forward to meeting with you and your children and are dedicated to the quest of being the best choice for alternative resource education in After School Programs in the Moorpark area.

What is the AMP? Transported After school Martial Arts Program, a constructive alternative to day care. During the school year, American Hapkido transports students from the elementary schools to our martial arts school. The students enjoy a martial arts class every day, as well as some fun physical activities and character-building quiet activities, and then the parents pick up their children between 5:00 and 6:30 p.m.

Feb. 2008- I just want to let you know how thrilled we have been with your Transported After-school Martial Arts Program (AMP). We found it to be a much better alternative than other after-school options, as it well organized, structured, goal-oriented, and it teaches real life skills. The bus pickup made it so easy for me! The instructors are wonderful with the students, and our daughter was always excited to attend. The AMP program has helped her in many ways, as she raised her self-esteem, developed better relationships with her peers, and became more self-disciplined overall. Thank you for offering this wonderful program.
During the summer the AMP becomes an all-day martial arts camp, where the parents drop off their children at our martial arts school before 9:00 a.m. and then pick them up between 5:00 and 6:30 p.m.
Is the AMP baby sitting? No, it is real martial arts education. A child does not stop learning when the school day ends, so why should his or her education stop? We feel that children need education in discipline, respect, and self-confidence in addition to their academic education.
Our After school Martial arts Program provides a martial arts education which teaches discipline, respect, self-control, concentration, goal setting, positive thinking, and, of course, self-defense. It helps the children get healthy, well-balanced physical exercise while improving self-confidence. Thus it is the perfect character-building education to supplement their academic education.

Quality schools offer educational martial arts programs which will teach your child history of the art they have chosen, Geography and origins of their art, safety and much more.
